In fact, one of the hardest aspects of being an attorney is never knowing what really happened or if your client is even telling you the truth. At the same time, I wanted to highlight how the attorney rules of ethics often leave attorneys with a hard choice between doing what is right and doing what is allowed.

The medical and legal portions of this book are accurate. Indeed, the conditions described herein and their treatments are all things I’ve encountered in my own practice, though fortunately, this particular story is fiction.
